Operating Principles
Single Acting Actuator (Spring Return)
CCW: Air to port A forces pistons outwards, compressing springs and turning pinion counterclockwise. Air exhausts from port B. On pressure loss, springs return pistons, turning pinion clockwise.
CW: Air to port B forces pistons outwards, compressing springs and turning pinion counterclockwise. Air exhausts from port B. On pressure loss, springs return pistons, turning pinion clockwise.
Double Acting Actuator
CCW: Air to Port A forces pistons outwards, turning pinion counterclockwise while air exhausts from Port B.
CW: Air to Port B forces pistons inwards, turning pinion clockwise while air exhausts from Port A.
